I really like the World Book Explains feature in the World Book Discover reference tools. I have found with the 3rd graders even though they can read about something in an encyclopedia and even see a picture they much prefer videos. They just seem to get so much more information from them. So I could see using these videos to go along with what we are studying in class.

I agree that these videos are soooo useful! They are downloadable, they are short enough to use during class time, and there are a variety of topics. You could also use these as a model for students to create their own!
